Deliveries

How do deliveries work ?

Basically the vendors are in control of their own shops here on okmalta.com.  Each vendor may have different rules like for example a) free delivery to all places or b) free delivery over 50 euros, otherwise 5 euro charge and Gozo may be say 8 euros delivery charge…..but in general the delivery charges change for each vendor and you can see this when you are checking out your cart and delete as necessary if not happy in one way or the other.

In general, you will be informed by the vendors on the preferred time and day of delivery by email or phone.  Typically as a guideline, all deliveries are next day but may also take place up to 3 working days – you will be contacted by the vendor about the exact delivery time and preferred day of delivery.  Questions regarding deliveries should be channelled through the vendor, having said that, we are here to help you out too so you may also wish to contact us on ecommerce@okmalta.com.

Returns

If a user would like to return an item purchased on the Website, this will need to be done physically at the premises of the respective Vendor from which the item was purchased from. Returns policies will reflect the terms of each respective Vendor, however for the avoidance of doubt, the Member must clearly inform the Vendor of their intention to return a purchased item within a 14 day-period (the “Withdrawal Period”) from when the User acquires physical possession of all the goods purchased.

Items may be returned as long as they are unused and in the same condition as they are received. Notwithstanding the above, items cannot be returned if you have started to assemble them, if they were made to measure or personalised, or if they are unsealed items which are deemed not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons such as but not limited to pillows, underwear, toilet seats, linen, towels, shower seats and personal care items.

The Member is to return the goods purchased to the Vendor by no later than 14 days from the day when they clearly informed the Vendor of their intention to return their purchase.

The Vendor aims to issue a refund, within 14 days from when the Vendor receives the returned item/s.

Refunds

In the unlikely scenario of a refund required for an out-of-stock item further to the order being placed by the user, this will be done within a period of 7 working days. A full refund on the credit/debit card originally used for payment will be done.  You may also wish to contact us on ecommerce@okmalta.com
