Description
The peach has yellow or whitish flesh, a sweet delicate aroma, and a velvety skin. The flesh is very delicate and can be easily bruised. Its single, large seed is red-brown and oval shaped and is surrounded by a wood-like husk. Peaches, along with cherries, plums and apricots, are stone fruits (drupes).
